US horrified as ex-NASCAR driver stabbed to death at petrol station – Fox Sports
Star NASCAR driver Bobby East was stabbed in order to death this week by a homeless man at a California gas train station.
The 37-year-old, three-time ALL OF US Auto Club champion, has been stabbed in the chest Wednesday while fueling up at the station within Westminster, Calif, The Sun reported. Emergency responders tried to keep him alive, but East died in a local trauma center.
Police identified Trent William Millsap, 27, as a suspect in the stock car racing driver’s death.
Millsap had been shot dead on Friday in the SWAT raid on an Anaheim-area apartment, sources told TMZ.

East won three USAC national driving titles: the USAC National Midgets title in 2014 and back-to-back USAC Silver Crown championships in 2012 and 2013.
The USAC in a statement called Bobby East “one of the most prolific drivers associated with his era. ”East has been the son of USAC Hall of Fame car builder Bob East.
